Özet

Today, Higher Education and universities that represent it have come to the fore as the most important dynamics of national, regional and global competition planned between countries. Universities also play an active role in the process of academic and administrative autonomy, science and innovation policies, responding to the demands of governments, society and the student world, and transforming knowledge into a product, contributing to individual and therefore social welfare. For this reason, restructuring has become a necessity in order for universities to be well managed and to be able to compete with internationally prominent universities. It is thought that the realization of this situation will be possible with the adoption and application of a more and more professional management style, with a strategic management approach in universities. In addition to the management problems, which are the most basic problems, universities are also faced with the problem of creating more and more resources, especially for research, in an increasingly competitive environment. In many studies, successful strategic decisions are taken on behalf of universities and some practical applications are examined while making these decisions. Universities should do this kind of research work approach, strategic management in universities, their private organization and environment with a permanent eye.
