About the Journal

The International Journal of Tourism, Education, Language and Social Science Studies (IJTELSS) is an open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed international journal. The journal publishes articles in English, Turkish, Kurdish, and Russian, and does not charge any submission or publication fees from authors.

IJTELSS aims to publish high-quality research articles in the fields of education, language, tourism, and social sciences, including disciplines such as economics, business, management, history, geography, sociology, social psychology, and ethics. Its scope includes theoretical and empirical research articles, original research reports, reviews, and scientific commentaries featuring both innovative and critical perspectives. The journal also welcomes studies related to economics, economic development, language studies, social sciences, statistics, commerce, environment, and political economy.

The journal published a single issue in both 2022 and 2023; however, due to technical difficulties, no issue was published in 2024. Beginning in 2025, the journal aims to publish two issues per year on a regular basis.

Manuscripts are evaluated impartially and promptly by the editorial board and reviewers. After an initial editorial assessment, submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process. The editorial office strives to provide reviewers’ reports and final decisions within six weeks of submission.

Manuscripts must be submitted exclusively through the online submission system; submissions sent via email will not be considered. IJTELSS commits to maintaining confidentiality of all submissions until publication. Reviewer identities are kept strictly confidential in line with journal policy, and every effort is made to uphold this confidentiality.

IJTELSS adheres to the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all necessary measures against publication misconduct. All authors submitting original articles must confirm that their studies represent their own contributions, have not been previously published elsewhere, and do not contain plagiarism. Manuscripts with plagiarism exceeding 20% will not be accepted. Authors are required to disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest related to their studies.
