Ethical Principles and Publication Policy
The International Journal of Tourism, Education, Language and Social Science Studies (IJTELSS) is an international, open-access, and double-blind peer-reviewed academic journal published twice a year (in June and December). IJTELSS accepts original manuscripts written in Turkish, English, Kurdish, and Russian.
Submitted studies must not have been previously published or be under consideration elsewhere. All submissions must be made through the journal’s online system; submissions via email will not be accepted. The journal does not charge any fees for submission, processing, or publication.
All manuscripts are first subject to editorial pre-evaluation. If deemed appropriate, they are then sent for double-blind peer review. The review process is expected to be completed within approximately six weeks, and the final publication decision is made by the editorial board. The copyright of accepted and published articles belongs to IJTELSS. Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or republication of published content is strictly prohibited.
IJTELSS adheres to the highest ethical standards throughout its publication process and is committed to the principles set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All stakeholders—including authors, editors, reviewers, and publishers—are expected to comply with these international guidelines of academic integrity.
Authors must declare that their manuscripts are original, not copied from other works, and that all references and citations are appropriately attributed. Manuscripts with a similarity rate exceeding 20% will not be evaluated. Furthermore, authors are required to disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest.
Reviewers are expected to evaluate submissions objectively, maintain confidentiality, and refrain from participating in the process if a conflict of interest arises. Editors must remain impartial in their decisions, focusing on scientific merit, originality, and the relevance of the manuscript to the journal's scope. They are also responsible for initiating investigations in cases of suspected ethical misconduct, plagiarism, or conflicts of interest.
IJTELSS is committed to preserving the trust of authors and readers, and to promoting academic transparency and scholarly contribution in accordance with ethical publishing practices.
